Benjamin Born is a Professor of Macroeconomics at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Research Director at the ifo Institute for Economic Research. He is also a research fellow at CEPR and CESifo. In addition, he is a consultant to the European Commission's DG ECFIN and a member of the European Parliament's Expert Group on Monetary Policy. Benjamin Born is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Monetary Economics and the European Economic Review. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the Bonn Graduate School of Economics.
