Cynthia Kinnan is an associate professor of economics at Tufts University. Her current projects include studying the effects of rapid digital credit in Tanzania, capital and training for entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, and B2B networks in Thailand. She is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and an affiliate of the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL), the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE), and the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD). She holds a PhD in economics from MIT.
