Mitali Das is an Advisor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) where she oversees the evaluation of policies conducted in the course of the IMF's lending and surveillance. Previously, she was an advisor to the IMF Chief Economist (G. Gopinath). Prior to joining the IMF, Mitali was Associate Professor of Economics at Columbia University, Dartmouth College and the University of California at Davis. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
